Problem Note 49017: Character strings are truncated at 255 characters when you are using the ACCESSCS driver with UTF-8 and DBCS encodings of SAS® data
Character strings that are more than 255 characters are truncated when you are using the ACCESSCS or PCFILES engines to export SAS data to Microsoft Access databases. The problem occurs in the UTF-8 and any double-byte character set (DBCS) encoding.
To circumvent this issue, use the WLATIN1 encoding if possible.
